Does anyone have this visible within Maxidot, relating specifically to vehicles with the cornering Bi-Xenon setup.
I'd like to activate this, for a trip to Europe.
Thanks,
Steve

I've got a VCDS 15.7.1 installed on my laptop and I need to modify some adaptation values of my navigation system (MIB1)
The issue is that sometime the value doesn't change and other software change others values.
could you help me ?
thanks
Can anyone local to Chertsey with VCDS activate a few things on my 2003 Fabia 1.4 16v Estate there's beer money in it for you lol.
Cheers

was going to see a member on here who kindly offered to do a VCDS read and clear etc of my car but the wife fell ill so i couldn't make it.
the wife has just said she will buy me the VCDS for my birthday in 2 weeks if i want it
my question is this, is it worth it for me?
i have just bought a 2006 Octavia and my son has a 2008 Octavia and we are possibly getting a new Octavia or Superb in the next year or so
i know that i can go on the list(map) of people who can help others but i am a novice and wouldn't want to screw someones car up because i don't know what i am doing
so what do you guys who use it in a hobby capacity think? is it worth it for me? is it easy enough to get round and learn without bricking the ecu?
thanks in advance guys
I currently have a stage 1 shark map on my Octavia VRS. Soon I'll be fitting an S3 intercooler and Miltek exhust along with DPF and EGR delete.
Obviously I need the EGR and DPF mapping out and I want a stage 2 map at the same time.
I am happy with the map from Shark but not their service so I won't be using them again.
So what other mappers are rated?
I've heard some bad reviews about Awesome who are local. Are Darkside any good and has anybody used Derv tech in Trafford Park? I drove past Derv tech earlier today and noticed quite a few Fabia diesels outside.
Driving to work this morning, and I hear some slight clonking noises from the rear. I check, and one of the rear dampers has failed with leaking oil.
I'd be interested to hear if others have had similar issues. My main concern / annoyance is this is my second set. The first one was replaced under warranty, and like the first set, it was the rear that failed.
So I appear to be suffering the same issue.
Fronts have been fine.
Anyone else had this? I need to check what the warranty / support status is. They were sourced via JKM who were excellent first time round in helping organise replacements.
Could old Eibach springs contribute to the problem? They seem fine, but maybe they've worn or lost their stiffness putting extra pressure on the dampers? I don't think it would be that as the fronts have been fine and still on the same set of springs.
Thanks.
Hi
I Have a 2016 Yeti, how can i enable the needle sweep when i cant do the below
How do I enable 'staging'? (needle sweep when ignition is turned on, needs the latest white MFD on newer cars)

Thanks

Not long ago bought cable, and I have been making doing the odd coding on my 14 plate 03., things like cornering fogs, HBA, teardrop wipe, Dimming DRL while indicating, etc. After I had done this, I noticed that I wasn't getting the 3 Lane change flashes on a tap of the indicator
So after taking out changes and double checking changes, I still hadn't got anywhere, and decided to go through the menus. And low, what do I find. An option for lane change flashes, but turned off. (I swear I never turned it off). So I now have my lane change flashes enabled again, but I only get 3, despite (2)-Turn signal control-Komfortblinken Blinkzyklen being set to 5.
Any ideas where I need to set the value, or get the controller to pick up the set value?
Thanks
i have all these symptoms listed except for the flashing PRNDS

i am changing the oil and filter tomorrow but need the gearbox reset as the above advice and this is what he suggests
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/6-Speed_Direct_Shift_Gearbox_(DSG/02E)
i am willing to travel and pay for the right member who is confident they know how to do it as even if i bought VCDS wouldn't have a clue and dont want to screw the box up more than it already is.
Hello,
I have just installed a Bluetooth module into my fabia 2 with the swing radio. its working fine, plays music via BT and I can make phone calls fine. the problem lies within the maxi dot display on my dash... the phone menu isnt there!
I believe this needs to be enabled within VCDS, option 77 telephone or something like that. If there is anyone local to me and is willing to help that would be really great.
Thanks, James.
Well, seeing as I've updated my Carista to V3, I thought that I'd give wife's August 2015 Polo 1.2TSI a quick scan - Carista found a fault in the Air Con controller, it reported "fault code 590081 ABS Inlet Valve - Left Front (N101)" - well that is not a very handy description, I'll need to advise Carista of that incorrect fault code labelling! Anyway, I scanned the car again with VCDS and also reported this fault but gave it a more plausible label, ie " Control Circuit for A/C Compressor B10A9 11 [008] - Short to Ground Intermittent". Car is obviously still under first year warranty so it will get looked at during its first service - but, any clues as to what normally causes this from personal experience, I know it could be the compressor itself or wiring or controller. I've searched the internet for answers but while that exact fault has been reported a few times, no follow up "what fixed it" postings happened!
